| I have to stop here, half way through your 'book'! I have been convalescing for quite a while from a major thing, and have been reading the fics starting with 'A'. As much as I have enjoyed many of the fics, I have never written a review (shameful,, I know), but you have forced it out of me. I am sooo completely impressed with your story. Once I was hooked, I looked up Phantom (heard of it of course but didn't really know the songs or plot) and saw some of the songs on youtube, and that added additional flavor. OK, your grammer and punctuation are as good as I've ever seen (sorry, but I can't read a story that has me wanting to correct the mistakes all the time). The HG/SS plot line is great. Even though they haven't 'consummated' yet, you don't disapoint us dirty minded folk who like their porn. You have made their relationship real and believable. Because I am so often disapointed by where I think a plot is going, I will stop reading and create my own finish, then read the end of the story (I don't know why I do that.....just happens). But with your story, everything I wanted to happen, just seemed to happen. So excellent!
You definitely have a gift, and should keep with it. With a subject matter that appeals to a larger audience, I think you could be very successful. Good luck in the future. Off to immerse myself in the Phantom for a few more day! Respectfully, thank you. | Ack! This cuts so close to people blaming women for unwanted sexual attention! :-( And over COLIN CREEVEY! I keep picturing him as being about nine years old!!! Wow, if you were searching for the least threatening character to turn Snape apeshit-jealous, you found him! I must say it was a bit refreshing to see Snape glowering at a kid who wasn't Harry, though. It confirms that the kind of hate-stare he gave Harry in canon was really full of sexual jealousy. Author's Response: BWAHAHAHA!!! Wow, that's hysterical! As for the women-blaming... yeah, it's the way things happen in life (unfortunately) so I wanted to make sure it was portrayed that way too. | Goodness Severus needs to relax just a little. I know he is still wavering with his years of untrust towards everyone, but honestly, he knows Hermione loves him. I never should have let her worm her way into my heart. She’s toying with my emotions…Severus, Severus, Severus... That man is just so insecure! And of course the parallels with the role he's playing are very apt. Hermione is letting Colin impose upon her good nature and unwillingness to hurt him, by letting him come on to her when it's the last thing she wants, and meanwhile Severus is having a cow, man. Author's Response: Yeah, and the course for THESE two really doesn't run smooth... *sigh* Yes, he's insecure, but I think that's part and parcel of why I adore him so much. LOL :) | |||
