| Squee! I love this chapter so much! I love how you put in seriousness in there though it is mostly and amusing chapter! The Lily part was sweet. often feel bad when people make her out to be horrible and undeserving of Severus because she ended their friendship after the mudblood incident. I mean it does seem a little harsh but at the time was serious. Its like someone having on Jewish friend during WWII and being kind tho them but not being nice to any others. I'm sure they'd be pissed too. Still, of course I am glad so many other HG/SS supporters exist because at least in our world he gets what he deserves!!!
The end was awesome, it was great to see him explore her quarters as he had never seen them and get an idea of her in her rooms. Finding playwitch was really funny too! And I love Crooks! His judging of Severus at the end is awesomely written!

| Oooh, well-done with the cat writing! Perfect for a half-kneazle, just a smidge beyond what we usually suspect a house cat is thinking. Very clever with the shirt, Crookshanks! Terrific way to remind the reader that this is the cat who mistrusted Scabbers and approved of Sirius. Speaking of which, when Snape was debating whether to Apparate into Hermione's bedroom, I figured the best way to keep him behaving was to tell him that Sirius and James would have surely done so! I like the canon echo in this chapter of how it feels for Snape when current events give him flashbacks to his school days. Author's Response: *beams* I'm glad you liked the cat writing. I have four of them right now, so I get to see a wide variety of behaviour. LOL As for his schooldays--I wrote this chapter before we had the canon info from The Prince's Tale, which is why it's not exactly canon. :D Thanks so much for reviewing! :) | |||

He emerged from behind the statue, blazing hurt and anger.*Sigh* Thing is, when a charismatic man like Alan Rickman, or indeed Michael Crawford (even Lon Chaney, Senior), plays the Phantom, an audience forgets that he's playing an ugly, murderous social misfit, and just aches with sympathy for him. In reality the man would be repulsive to most people and they would feel no pity at all for him. That's why the Phantom is such a mess emotionally, or anyway, it's a symptom of why he's that way. It's why the Snape in the books doesn't have any non-Death Eater friends except Albus Dumbledore - nobody else has enough self-confidence to accept him just as he is, rage, bitterness, ugliness and all. Thank goodness for fanfic, and our version of Hermione, who can love him - and our version of Snape, who can let her. (Good chapter.) Author's Response: Aww, that's so true!
