| Finally! I've hated that little wanker Colin now for CHAPTERS. What a creeper. He totally deserved to be obliviated. Though I almost wish that after they had let him try the extendable ears again so Hermione could catch him and get his stalker ass expelled. I don't feel bad for him at all, though I do slightly feel bad for JKR's Colin who was annoying but harmless. Lol! Loving the story so far! Author's Response: *beams* Hi! | Well, Colin has turned into quite the creepy little stalker! He got what he deserved - he clearly hasn't been respecting her boundaries, and persisting even after she's refused him. | Oh god. I literally felt a chill when I realised what the 'bug' was! But then I felt myself getting so incredibly upset for Colin! (I tend to get very into stories, and I can't help but feel so terribly upset for him!) I also feel so bad for Hermione to have to act like that. At least Severus is there to look after her. | Ha! Are you QUITE done bitch-slapping me, dear author? First leading me one way... then another... then another... phew! Lemme hold onto my head with both hands while I think. Oh, you had me screaming "Obliviate him!" in my head for several paragraphs! That took them quite a long time to get there, didn't it?! Oh, Hermione was borderline sadistic with that. I almost expected her to vomit once she shut the door. How dreadful. But I laughed at Snape kicking the box of chocolates. And the most exquisite cruelty was the long pause after Colin asked Hermione to be his valentine. Those pauses kill me! Sweetest, though, is the wonderful way you give these lovers first time after first time after first time. I loved how you had us see through Hermione's eyes how it looks to witness a man's orgasm for the first time. I'm not as interested in first-time fics that go directly to intercourse; what you've shown here is more like what I think of as the most magical feelings of being new lovers. | Oh, poor Hermione. Totally a necessary action for her to take, but you portrayed her very well as someone who doesn't like to hurt others, despite the necessity from time to time. I'm very glad you had Snape understand this difficulty; this both reflects his caring for Hermione, and the developments in his character.
Although I hope this doesn't jar their relationship too much, I think this chapter is important in reminding them that giving in too much might get them caught out pretty quickly. | wow. . . I'm in shock. That was the most intense thing I think I've ever read. I'm torn between hating that simpering fool Colin and being happy that he did it, so such an deliciously riviting situation could unfold.
Once again, the imagery of your writing is stunning. While I'm reading I often realize that I feel as if I'm watching a movie with the best cinematic directing ever. Author's Response: Wow! | The "Let me touch you" part made me gasp out loud! The energy you build up between them is so intense, I could feel it beaming off the page! (I print the chapters and read one each night before I go to sleep... :P) You make my cheeks flush, when you write scenes as intense as this one!
I got tears in my eyes at the end! When she realised how limited their relationsship is, how much danger it brings them in, I could feel the fear in my stomach.
Brilliant to build up that massive sexual energy and then tear it down with so much angst! It worked like a charm! ;) You're an amazing writer!
