| That is really, really funny. We've all said for years that Alan Rickman's voice could make a woman come, but this is the first time I've ever seen it depicted and it's amazing and incredibly dear! I like the way she laughs about it. She is crazy about him. I think it's fascinating the way you're constructing a sex manual of your own. And the way you've moved that first-time discomfort away from the traditional focus on the hymen to that jaw-aching problem of oral sex that you're worried will never end, even if both people are completely into it. It's beautifully radical and anti-patriarchal! <3 And much closer to portraying life in a way that makes sense in the world I know. And the first part of this chapter, oh, howlingly painful. I am impressed with the extreme accuracy with which you showed how it feels to be confronted with the blank withdrawal of a loved one, how even hostility is a welcome improvement. Thank goodness Snape has Legilimency to get him quickly to the realization that the other really loves him. That can take so long without magic. As of now, it seems to me that Dumbledore is trying to keep Snape within the castle partly because he plans to force the issue of everybody confronting and accepting this relationship, and partly as a test to see if the relationship can weather this disappointment. But not sure, of course. And I am enjoying this chapter knowing that the author is not going to let Colin Creevey or anyone Perturb our couple on this evening of all evenings. Author's Response: *bounces in joy* Wheee!!! LOL As for my own sex manual... *whistles innocently* I daresay it's more that I'm constructing a wish list on how things could be. *snort* Also... "howlingly painful"--WOW! *shudders in delight* You just totally made my night! | Holy... I didn't follow the Phantom for about two years and I must say it has nicely progressed. An abolutely stunning work.
You do notice that you've almost hit the 2000 pages mark? (I wanted to know so I did an overall word count and inserted 586990 words of blank text into a somewhat invoice-sized document)
Impressive, absolutely impressive.
Keep up the good work. I'm still loving it! Author's Response: LOL I honestly had no idea on page count since I've got my Word docs split up into several chunks (it doesn't like it when I get well more than 100 pages going). *snort* Plus, I know I use higher font point when writing than would be used to count pages. | What a bunch of pervy readers you much have, only two of the buggers have bothered to stop long enough to leave a review. Poor you, that chapter certainly deserves much more recognition that it has currently received. On a different note, seeing as HG is intent of breaking SS, I think that you should give the poor boy a break and send him over to my house for a little R&R, ahem, before she does him any permanent damage. Cheers for posting.
