| My sister had recommended this story to me years ago (this is her account actually lol we share a lot and too lazy to make my own XP). Every time I went to start it, life got too busy! Finally picked it up a month or so ago, reading for an hour or so each night after the kids go to bed. I just finished it tonight! What an absolutely amazing fic this was. So well written and done! I know it's been many years since published, but want to make sure you knew it is still being enjoyed today! This is definitely something I will reread in the future! :) | |||

| Phantom is the very first theatre/opera/musical (?) show I watched. To see it paired with my OTP in the fandom was definitely a hook up in a way wanted, but didnt expect. Because damn do I love this fic. Feel good. Humour, Romatic. With a touch of angst and jealousy and all that jazz.
I swear ive read this at least 10 times or so within the past few years. Still a favorite, if not the top. :) Thank you for blessing us shippers with this gem. | I'm so glad I read this! Way back when you started it, I was in the height of my SS/HG phase and was reading everything, bit refused to start this because it wasn't complete. I've been burned too many times by abandoned fics. *Tear* Truthfully, I had in my head that this was a campy parody, which isn't really my thing in an epic length fic. I'm so glad I decided to chance it after seeing it recommended on so many other authors' pages. I love how you wove the Phantom of the Opera into the whole story. I love the song incorporated into their vows (if I could sing, I'd be scheduling a renewal of vows to steal your idea), and I love how you really progressed Severus' character and allowed him to open up and make friends. You did a great job balancing Dumbledore as well. He wasn't Evil!Dumbledore and he wasn't the bumbling twinkly fool either. He was human and makes mistakes and I think you managed to show that nicely (and thanks for not having him perform the wedding!) I am slightly frustrated by the fact that I've been singing all the songs for the past week, but I won't hold that against your story! Lol. Fantastic job! I'm so glad I decided to read this!
