| Dear GoodWitch, as a newbie to Hogwarts fan fiction, I was initially a bit disconcerted to think that Snape and Heroine might be involved. But I have to admit, you have rendered the characters so fantastically, the tenacity and curiosity of Hermione, the snappy, acrimonious humor of the vulnerable potions master so dreamily and humorously captured that I have now captured this brilliant story in a permanent place of honor on my reader . The parallels drawn between Eric and Snape are truly glorious - pure goosebumps! For my part, there have only been a few drops of melancholy so far (I've currently done a little more than 40 percent of the story and was still afraid of the end of this story after 4 percent), which are of course a matter of taste. Overall, too many sexual scenes are included for me. Especially at the beginning, when "everyone" was constantly masturbating and Harry was also there as a perverted peeper, I didn't like it and in one scene Hermoine seemed incredibly childish when Snape stayed at her parents' house and took a shower. That didn't seem Hermoine-typical to me. But all in all, I have never felt so many laugh lines in a short time, so much melancholy and longing, sadness, joy, jitters, elation... Honestly: F*** the cursed child. Actually, your story "The Phantom Of Hogwarts" should be printed as a "continuing" book. | |||

| Forgive me my "English", since I am from the Nedtherlands...
Just stumbled into te 2nd chapter of the story while looking for pictures to use in my self made agenda. Got hooked instandly and subscribed to be able to read the whole story. Sigh... wish I could write like you. I agree with al the positive reactions here.

| This will eternally be my favourite Snape/Hermione fic. I adore it and I've read it front to back several times. I know I didn't stay in touch but I just wanted you to know that, 11 years after I first read this chapter, I still think it's incredible. And Ramin Karimloo is still THE best Phantom. ;-) Author's Response: *blush* You totally made my day, darlin. I recently was feeling a bit nostalgic and re-read it myself. | Hi,
I run a site called Fanfiction Theater FanfictionTheater.com I am currently setting up the adult section of the site. I would love if Phantom of Hogwarts could be my first adult story for the site. I have been a fan of this fanfiction for years. I am asking permission to turn this into an audio play. It would take a while before I could have it up. I need to still find age appropriate voice actors for the adult section. Most of the voice actors on the normal site are under the age of 18. But I would like your permission, so that I can at least begin looking. Author's Response: I have thought about this for a while, and here's what I came up with: 1) I am extremely flattered by your request! 2) I am partly feeling proprietary in that I would love to be able to record my own fic (especially since I am a voice artist), but I know I don't have the time to do so. 3) I believe that you would treat my fic with respect and produce a quality recording, but doing so also brings up some copyright issues, particularly with the songs from PotO. I would imagine that perhaps using the actual music from the musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber might be desirable, and that might open a can of worms, since it wouldn't be changed enough to escape copyright infringement. 4) As flattered as I am about you wanting to tackle this particular fic, considering its HUGE length, I wonder if it would be the best choice for an initial foray into adult rated fic, as it would take ages to record the whole thing. 5) All that being said, if you decide to record it, all I ask is that you please make sure all relevant disclaimers about both JKR's charaters and ALW's music be added at the start of EVERY chapter/recorded section, and that links to my fic/profile page either here or at ThePetulantPoetess or at ArchiveOfOurOwn be included on the site with the fic recording. I hope your endeavor is successful, and thank you for the extreme compliment of wanting to record my fic! :) | |||

| Interesting start. I've never seen Phantom of the Opera so I know nothing about it, I hope that this doesn't affect my understanding of the story - but from the reviews I have great confidence that it will be an excellent read.
