Reviews for Phantom of Hogwarts

My, you have worked hard haven't you! I imagined you having a J.K. Rowling type epiphany when the idea walks fully formed into your head!

Author's Response: *snerk* SOME of it appeared fully-formed, but a lot more of the journey got fleshed out as they evolved. Thanks for reviewing! :)

By the time I got to your cast list, I realized this must have been the most ginormous plot bunny ever. What fangs it must have had! I squeed over the Snape/McGonagall interaction. So much affection in their House rivalries. And gasped over that dreadful dream, especially the image of Dumbledore as Snape's puppetmaster. Even in your lightheartedness, you put in these chilling readings of canon that I *love*.

Author's Response: *bounces happily* It was indeed the plot bunny that ate my soul. LOL As for canon things, there was so much that was put in this before we knew canon stuff for sure that I was exceedingly pleased when my "reading" of canon was vindicated in several places later. *snort* Even as book 6 came out, I tried to work as much new canon in as possible, and when book 7 came out, I preened on several counts. LOL!! That dream was a way of explaining my view of Dumbledore early on, so I admit my own personal agenda pops up throughout. Thanks for such a lovely review! :)

Oh, what can I say, the chapter is so good, and your Severus is amazing in his thoughts and behaviour, I had to laugh myself to death when Severus found out that he has to act and sing the Phantom, the scene is very well written - just perfect!

Author's Response: *beams* Welcome to the story! I hope you continue to enjoy it this much. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

I love your characterization of Snape--exactly the way he would react in the books I imagine! I also liked the scene between Snape and Minvera--it is house poltics!

Author's Response: LOL!! I love that you think he's in character. Hopefully you'll believe his progression as we go, too. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Oh, I love reading for Severus' POV!! I can't wait until the interaction between the casts stars! Especially 2 particular ones!! schadenfreude huh? you've seen avenue q? do you like musicals a lot? I love them!!

Author's Response: Actually, I have not seen Avenue Q, but I knew the term (which Lisa Simpson even explained on one episode of the Simpsons). Snape's POV will continue a little bit more, then we get more integrated. Thanks so much for reviewing!

"“Don’t sulk, Severus, it’s not befitting your age and position,” he whispers to me." ahaha! i can't stop giggling at the exchanges between albus and severus! the power behind this story is really impressive. it's light but still very engaging. i will probably be reading this all week now.

Author's Response: I do try to keep it engaging, even if it isn't all light. LOL Gods know there's enough of this behemoth for you to read all week. *facepalm* Thanks again for reviewing! :)

Bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger. I'd have stayed in bed if I'd had the day that you gave SS. Cheers for posting.

Author's Response: ROFL!!!! Oh, that's hilarious! Well, with a day that bad, it can only get better, right? :)

As a reread, I enjoyed seeing the foreshadowing for Dumbledore and Snape's relationship later in the play--er, story. I guess that's a common enough word slip when the story is about The Phantom of the Opera. Tee hee! :-)

Author's Response: *wriggles with happiness* LOL *squee* I'm glad it shows up, even if it is supposed to be subtle. I tried to put it all in there, so that when the surprise betrayal happened, it wasn't supposed to be COMPLETELY unfounded. Thanks so much for the support! :)
