| Oooh I'm not much of a Harry/Hermione person, and I'm very glad I'm on this site! Can't wait for the next few chapters! (I may or may not be eating frosties from the box whilst reading this...) | Oh, interesting! A whole chapter showing exactly how stories and music can lead us to crush on someone and think of their traits in a hopelessly romantic way! And once that happens, and once there's an active fantasy involved, it's that much more difficult to resist...I really like how you've shown that. And nice touch with the word "imperiously" echoing Snape's thoughts about the Imperius curse in the previous chapter. Author's Response: Indeed. | Oh Hermione and Severus are both already brought to such a state by the mere though of each other. I can't imagine when they are actually together! It will be wonderful! | I just started reading this - I totally thought Draco would be Raoul, but perhaps because of the slicked back blonde hair. I am now reading this while listening to the soundtrack from the 2004 film version and desperately trying to reconcile the Gerry Butler and Alan Rickman in my mind who are duking it out to see who will play Snape/Phantom.
:) Author's Response: Oh, wow, seriously, if you want to hear a sex-on-legs Phantom (even more so than Gerard Butler), check out the original cast recording, with Michael Crawford. *melts* HIS voice out of Alan Rickman is what I visualize when I'm writing. “I thought you wanted to look over our parts.” Harry’s eyes narrowed at the inadvertent innuendo and a smirk played over his lips. Oh, good... I thought it was only the pervy old woman center of my brain that was snickering naughtily and causing me to see double meanings in dialogue like this! It was intentional, after all.
