| After a long absence, I allow myself the treat of logging onto Ashwinder for a quick read, and I see that you finished this story!! I have returned and re-read it frequently over the last few years, and it's a bit of a shock to know that there's now an end. I'm currently re-reading, which will probably take me a while, but thoroughly re-enjoying. Know that you are totally responsible for me avoiding writing up a presentation for next week! (But I am very happy for the distraction...) Shall drop a review here and there as I re-read. | Wow, it makes me wince with pain to see poor Snape suffering jealousy like this! With all the natural pain of teen jealousy, but twisted into obsessiveness because of his age. Ow, ow, ow. | Sev, give over already! I love the way you weave between the different points-of-view. Also, I haven't read a triangle of Severus-Hermionie-Harry since ..... (don't remember). Bravo! Author's Response: LOL Yeah, the changing POV is to emphasize Snape's isolation that slowly opens to include others (namely, Hermione, natch), so it will eventually shift to 3rd person omniscient. *sheepish smile* Hope you keep enjoying it. | I thought it was a lovely chapter, and it seems Ginny is happy if Harry and Hermione are, but I can't help but suspect she doesn't think it will last...but will she know why? Hmm...
Yay for Severus' POV! I liked that we saw the same scene from both their POVs! Author's Response: The POV integration has begun! LOL Just as an aside, Ginny is my shameless self-insertion. *snerk* She's one of my favourite ancillary characters in this fic. Thanks again for reviewing! :) | |||

I feel a spark of pity, but I squash it with visions of her and Potter kissing.Oh, this passage made me want to cry. It made me recall the Phantom's song from atop the statue on the roof of the Opera House: I gave you my music,I know that turns up later in the story, but he's just so sad... Occasionally snippets like this make me forget what an impossible, thorny bastard he is to deal with: you can't put a hand on him anywhere without getting a thorn through your skin for your trouble. Oh, but it would so be worth it... Another good chapter. Author's Response: Yeah, I went after the parallels a lot. *agrees with Guinnevere about putting hands on Snape...* ;) | |||
