| I'm LOVING how the relationships between Hermione, Snape and Harry are parallel with their parts in the musical! And how Hermione and Snape's reactions to each other are precisely those between Christine and the Phantom - the mesmeric connection, the sexual tension, the way they seem to hypnotise each other. And my god, Snape IS the Phantom! And what an inspired use of the Sonorous charm - it fits the music perfectly! I am so glad that you were the person to make this quirky idea into a story - it could so easily have been a disaster, but you've pulled it off with great aplomb! Seriously impressed! | I'm loving the work you're doing with chairs and body language in this story! I first noticed it with Seamus and Dean, when you had them tilt on the back legs of their chairs a few chapters ago until Snape glared at them. Here, I see the way you have Snape sitting with his limbs folded up or gesticulating with his performance(s) and it's a fantastic way to capture his combination of immature boyishness, smirky pride, defensiveness and dignity. And I love Draco's Italian accent. I guess he goes to the wizarding tailors in Milan for his dress robes. :-) Author's Response: Oh, body language, voice inflection, and facial expression are all VERY important to me. | I just really got into fanfic recently and found your story as I have only begun I have to say i LOVE the story so far! as I havent read the second part of this chapter yet (doing so after my review!) I just wanted to say that this Chapter was amazing the intense of the first reading gave me chills! the way both Hermione and Snape seemed drawn to their parts and to eachother Im really LOVEING this sroty! | Oh. My. God. **falls into musically induced coma!!!** The interaction between Hermione and Severus in this scene was absolutely amazing! PotO is my favorite musical of all time (sadly I have yet to see it live) but this chapter brought it to life! I played my soundtrack at the parts where they sing. The music gives me goosebumps anyway, but imagining Hermione and Severus **Alan Rickman...gasp** singing so passionately to each other.....I shivered! Seriously! Wonderful wonderful story! It's like they know exactly what should be felt in response to the songs and to each other, as the Phantom and Christine of course, but also as themselves! | Towards the end of this chapter I couldn't help but feel the beginnings of bitterness towards AD in respect of his treatment of SS. Cheers for posting.
