| I love this chapter very much also! I mean your entire story is fantastic and mesmerizing but some chapter just stand out for me! I love this second half - Hermione shoving off Harry and Severus' reaction and how it advances his thoughts and even respect of her and then how he reacts to her looking stunning in her costumes... and of course I agree with Hermione in how Snape looks appealing in his costumes...but also and handsome and elegant and just...delicious! *smirk*
My favorite part though has to be when Hermione fixed Snape's hair - I don't know how people couldn't feel utterly blissful when someone brushes their hair or massages their scalp! It is such a lovely feeling which can be relaxing but also really intimate if you think about it...and even arousing!
Oh and one small think I noticed...you made a small mistake here, when Dumbledore says
"And your final costume is the one you wear for ‘Don Juan,’ which will take you to the end of the play.”
Actually The Phantom takes of the wedding dress he has on his life size Christine Doll during "Down Once More" and has Christine wear it...so technically that is her last costume...but I'm not trying to sound rude, just pointing it out!
Author's Response: LOL Actually, darlin, you're not rude at all! But, you've hit upon the thing I wanted to point out (which is why I had Dumbledore say that part out loud for the reader): this production is a tiny bit different than the London version. I chose to make that change so Hermione would NOT be wearing any sort of wedding dress until the end of the fic, and so Snape's eventual realization that he wants to propose to her would (hopefully) be even more based on just his true feelings, rather than influenced by seeing her in a wedding dress multiple times. ;) As the chapters/rehearsals go on, if you find that I managed to somehow include Christine's wedding dress anywhere, let me know about that, 'cause that would totally defeat my purpose! *snort* Anyway, I love your long, detailed, engaged reviews. It brings back all the joy I felt when creating this fic. So THANK YOU again and again! :) | |||

| I understand that Draco needed a little longer for his fittings because his role is bigger, but for a moment I laughed to think it was just an acknowledgment of his vanity. :-) I was taken by surprise with how moving it was to see Snape's mask reduced from hiding his whole identity, so falsely, to hiding far less of it and in a different, hopeful way. That was quite brilliantly done and you sustained the emotion of it for remarkably long. | I'm so glad to see Hermione and Severus give in a little to being civil and professional. I know it will probably take time, but it is so nice to see how they slowly com to terms with the reality of their feelings, like it should be.. As fun as it is to read tons of different stories it just doesnt work as well when the story starts with hermie and sevvie all cuddly and kissy right away.... Author's Response: The biggest thing I'm striving for in this mammoth effort is to provide a realistic progression of feelings and a relationship. | I have always liked a good Ron bashing, but I do like to see him portrayed as he is now. You are doing a most magnificent job on this story. I love the length too. Snape is by far my favorite character and I love to see him out of his comfort zone. Author's Response: LOL!! I figured, hey, Ron is so often a target for the bashing, and he doesn't deserve that! *snerk* So, I wanted him to be fun and endearing... just not attached to Hermione! | Mainly a transition chapter, but Severus seems more comfortable thinking that maybe - just maybe - Hermione might see him as an attractive man. Duh! Earth to Severus! Space Cadet Snape, come in, please! It's a good thing for Hermione that he's worked so hard at keeping people away, though. Otherwise, he'd be married, under constant surveillance and guarded jealously by his wife - and who could blame her! Where was I? Oh, yes: good chapter!
