Reviews for Phantom of Hogwarts

I have a feeling, I havent watched or read any legitimate Harry Potter (apart from Fantastic Beasts) because it might do me a Haciko (basically just make me start to cry everytime its about Snape). I didnt cry in the book when he died., I think... Maybe I was a bit young. But i bawled at the cinema, even if I knew it wasnt the legitimate shreiking shack scene. Im scared to bawl now throughout the films and books. Funny. the few (like 3) friends of mine, and my dad knew I really like Alan, just texted me on that day, almost all at the same time that the news flooded in of the passing. It was heartwrenching. This is my last rant huhu. Im sorry really. I just cant talk to them like this, but I believe you're a fan, so I hope the late night (2.30am!) restless sleep wont ve bothering you much. I promise to keep hush hush now. :) Thank you

hi again. im sorry im having you open up your inbox D: Ive had a 39.5c (103f) fever for 3 days and just starting to cool a bit and to take my mind of the pain I would read a few chapters a day. Thing is. I just want to say that I'm really glad for this story. For ashwinder in general (hell im glad ashwinder itself is back). I just suddenly had this painful remembering that our beloved man is gone (Yeah, Alan). I, being one of the younger generation really know him as Snape, but I have delved into his other movies and research some more as a fan does. True, shipping him with Hermione may not be the most respectful, but tbh in my head its not Alan, its really Snape, and almost not Emma because it has been a long while since I last had an HP moment. (im glad I heard Emma singing in beauty and the beast tho, slightly makes it easy to see how she sings phantom haha at least with her tone) Back to the point. Me, remembering Snape. Remembering Alan, remembering how good he is of a real person, and how I wanted to travel halfway across the world to meet him... knowing he was such a kind, wonderful human all in all, it just makes me sad. Its like... a real broken feeling. Due to him being so private with his life, it doesnt seem like he'll be gone for long. That maybe he will be back with a new movie, then the reality hits hard. I miss Alan. Fanfiction apart from his brilliant movies, brilliant voice, in this case, Snapes "voice" always being said as "velvet" or the like, brings tears to my eyes. Brilliant fanfiction like this one, can totally play in my mind that its real. That he would do this. Maybe not with Emma. But with his own Hermione for a play or what not, after all, he is a versatile actor, and I if I wanted a pwp, I'd read a pwp, but these (and some pwps /I really dont want to offend anyone/ and so) are gold. Point is. im sorry, i rattled on, its just the sickness, and since Thursday I was reading this story, and thinking about Alan has just been hard (funny I'm not even a super /die/ hard fan, but I can say that I dont have a lot of actors/actresses I would want to meet, Alan would probably be top 3.) Again, Im sorry if this review got too long and strayed from the story. It just so happened I was rereading. Thank you for the story. For the beautiful story. p.s. despite all the line breaks and enters I did, im pretty sure once I submit this, it would just scramble back to together. i hope its not hard reading (im also crying. stupid sickness)

I just realized something... You forgot about the wedding dress Christine is put in during The Phantom's Lair/ Finale (whatever you want to call it)

Author's Response: Whoops! Duplicate. ;)

Author's Response: No worries. It was more of a "prefer to skip that part since I prefer staging it without having that costume change." *shifty eyes* I get to fantasy-direct via Dumbledore, right? LOL Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Oooh! Very clever, to make the Legilimency he performs on her from a distance feel exactly like the intense tingling a young adult feels when someone finds her as interesting as she finds herself! Wow. :-) And how fun that you bring us right back to the classic Snape mystery of Sorcerer's Stone: why did he do this inexplicable thing of protecting me when he seems so hostile on the surface? And another canon premonition, Hermione reclaiming a negative thing! Man, your story is just FULL of those premonitions, isn't it!? Can it be...that you are an astute reader???? ;-) I was smiling as you initiated yourself into the world of SSHG detention and then the "practice kissing" trope, but was surprised (once again! your writing, ah) at the deep still note it struck when your story got to the line "It had finally been spoken aloud." I really like how you keep things flowing and then change the pace with a fermata stop like that. It's supposed to last a long time, indeed. :-)

Author's Response: *blush* You're making me all giddy with your lovely reviews! LOL I'd like to think that I'm at least a somewhat astute reader, but certainly not on a level with your mad skillz! As for that practice kissing thing... *self-reveal time* I and a co-star did that in high school b/c we both knew the rest of the cast were going to give us hell and make the practice of that scene excruciating. So, we worked it out on our own so that when it was time to do it, we just did it, it looked fine, and the director moved on from there! LOL Took the wind right out of their sails. Granted, we didn't actually kiss--we practiced stage kissing until it looked natural and real--but the idea still stands. ;P Thank you so much for reviewing! :)
