Love this chapter very much! I'm so glad the cast is starting to truly see how talented Severus is, even if just as a singer right now. It really is a great way to build up acceptance and resepct of him. Also I didn't mention this last time but I love how Hermione lets Sanpe overhear her comments about what she wants for her relationship...though maybe if she didnt let him know she knew he wa there it could have had a mor eintersting effect! Author's Response: LOL This was indeed the first step in having everyone see a different side of Snape. It's a long journey to get to the point where they're willing to accept the transformation, but that's the fun of it all! ;) Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

I forgot to rave in the last chapter's review that you got Ron transfiguring half his costume, foreshadowing his splinching. :-) I don't know most of the lyrics to "Phantom" so it tore savagely at my heart to read that the Phantom's face repelled his mother and that the mask was the first item of clothing the infant wore. Oh, God, that just killed me. Because just before that line in your chapter, when the Phantom is wondering what he had done to deserve being chained, I had been thinking, "Because JKR hates certain aspects of herself and put them into your character, Snape, and hated you before she created you and will never, ever love you!" Argh! anguished cry Author's Response: comforts you Aww, it's okay, darlin. Snape gets his happy ending in this fic, at least. ;) I didn't want to belabour the lyrics, but they are important to the development of the relationships, so I hope that you enjoy their inclusion as we go along. I love picturing my favorite HP characters singing PotO! It really is a wonderful cross! Hermione and Snape are so cute for lack of a better word. I bet they'll have to work very mcuh on acting in front of everyone else. I don't think Ginny will be fooled too long. She might not suspect Snape but she's gotta notice Hermione is falling for someone.... Author's Response: Careful... don't let Snape hear you calling him "cute." LOL Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

It's just that eerie sixth sense one gets. Plus, she knows Severus was heading for the dungeons, and would probably be hanging back, indulging in a little harmless Hermione watching before he retired. It's very logical. Good chapter: lotsa romance!

yay! i love the second act, and herm and sev rock my world! well written chapter. so sad they have to pretend, and ironic that now harry's part has no meaning...pity. bwhahahaha! not really, i dont feel sorry for him at all...
