Reviews for Phantom of Hogwarts

That is spot-on, the rapidity with which Snape's insecurity started gnawing at him. And I love, love, love that Hermione has figured out a way for them always to have tea together. It's gorgeous in its togetherness. Domestic ritual hiding in plain sight.

Author's Response: *blush* Yay! The funny thing (to me) is that I don't drink tea (or coffee). At all. I don't like it, no matter how it's prepared. So I had to hope I got the whole tea thing "right" enough that folk wouldn't call bullshite on me. LOL Thanks again for such a lovely review! :)

Oh dear, Severus. Severus always so unsure. I wonder how long it will take to realize Hermione is in love with him so much she's not going to just stop caring about him!! And hopefully Ginny and Harry get together soon, those two might not last long if they do!

Author's Response: One can't get over such insecurities very quickly after 37 years of them being ingrained. But there's hope! Thanks for reviewing! :)

Blimey, the sub-plot of GW and HP is thickening up to prove that you're able to offer your readers more than one complex relationship at a time; well done. Cheers for posting.

Author's Response: It warms the cockles of my heart that you find the relationships to be complex. I hope they manage to stay within the realm of believable too. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

It's me again. Gee! He just told her she had to be careful and when she does...he's goes off the deep end. Insecure Snape is a lovable Snape. I've just ordered the CD - original cast recording, like my cassette, - I can't wait for it to get here. Thank you for devoting your time, skills, and energy into making this a lovely story. joannie

Author's Response: "Insecure Snape is a lovable Snape." ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! OMG, that's so awesome! :) I wanted him to be insecure, as he's brand new to the whole relationship thing, you know? Glad you're enjoying it, and hope you keep enjoying the new CDs too! Thanks again for reviewing! :)

I am really enjoying reading this! It's very clever and amusing. But I just wanted to say a couple of things

Firstly: 'Sneaked,' not 'snuck.'
Please! I beg of you.

Secondly: I winced when, at the first singing rehearsal, Hermione threw her head back to hit the high notes- that makes it harder to hit those notes, although it is a natual mistake that most inexperienced singers will make.

And when Snape conjured ice water, I knew it should have been room temperature for a singer.

I know they sound like little picky bits, but I hate the 'word' snuck. The music stuff I know because my daugher is a music and theatre major at an undisclosed college on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. (on a voice scholarship)

I also know that the music for Phantom is very tough on the singers and some of them ruin their voices on it, having to sing night after night. A pity. So I am glad for the potions and charms at the disposal of the Hogwarts cast. ;-)

Thank you for a very delightful story.

She didn’t look at him once.

And Snape was sure of it, because he kept peering at her through his hair, both while at his desk and while circulating through the room. As time wore on, he became increasingly bothered by her complete detachment. Worry began to gnaw at him.

“Yes, well… As I’ve said before, I’m not used to being wanted, so forgive me any unusual reactions…”
Let me just say: Awwwww! Sweet babykins! Get used to it, Snape! Lots of women want you, believe it or not.

And Ron is being just a darling. He's grown up a fair bit - even if his sister still has to remind him not to eat like their mother never taught him table manners and food's being outlawed tomorrow. Good chapter.

Author's Response: Re: Ron-- LOL!!!!!!!! Yeah, that's a canon facet that I just love exploiting. It makes me giggle. And I just adore insecure Snape. He's so lovable! :)

Ha! I knew Ginny liked Harry. Maybe they will distract each other enough to not notice Hermione and Snape!

Author's Response: *wicked grin* Welllll... that's the idea! LOL Glad you're still enjoying it, and thanks as always for reviewing! :)

So tell me...just what is so damn wrong with talking to yourself?? I do it all the time!!!

Author's Response: It's when you start answering back and arguing that you have to worry... LOL :)
