Sycophant Hex Administrative Exam US Version

There are three sections in the Sycophant Hex Administrative Exam.

Section 1:

Below are short scenes with deliberate mistakes. Please edit for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and canon errors, if any.

Example 1:

He reched the inside of the witches hump, tapped it with his wand, stuck his head through, and hoysted himself out, the hump closed; and just as Harry jumped out from behind the stature, he heard quick footstep approaching.

It was Snape. He approached Harry at a swift walking, his black robes swishings, then stopped in front of him.

"So", he said.

There was a look of supresed triumf about him. Harry tries to look innocent, all too aware of his sweaty face and his mudy hands, which he quickly hided in his pockets.

"Come with me, Potter" Said Snape.

Harry followed him down stairs, trying to wipe his hands clean on the inside of his robs witout Snape notice. They walked down the stairs to the dungeons and then into Snape's office.

Harry had only been in here once before, and he had been in very serius trouble then too. Snape had acquired a few more slimy horrible things in jars since last time, all standing on shelves behind his desk glinting in the firelights and added to the theatening atmosfere.

"Sit." said Snipe.

Harry sat. Spean however remained standing.

"Mr. Malfy has just been to see me with a strainge story Potter", said Snape.

Haryr didn't say anything.

"He tells me that he is up by the Shreiking Shack when he runs into Weasly - apparently aloan."

Still, Harry didnt speak.

"Mr. Malfoy states that he was standing talking to Weezly when a large amount of mud hit him on the back of the hed. How do you think that could of happened!?!"

Harry tried to look mildly sprised.

"I don't know professor."

Snape's eyes were boring into Harrys. It was exactly like trying to outstare a hippogryff. Harry tried hard not to blink,

Mr. Malfoy then saw an extraordinary apparition. Can you imagine what it might have been; Potter?"

"No" said Harry, now trying to sound innocently curous.

"It was your head Potter. Floating in midair,"

There is a long silence.

"Maybe he'd better go to Madame Pomphrey," said Harry. "If he's seeing things like -"

"What would you head have been doing in Hogs Mead Potter?" said Snape softly. "You're head is not allowed in Hogmede. No part of your body has permission to be in Hogsmead."

"I know that," said Harry, striving to keep his face free of guilt or fear. "It sounds like Malfoys having hallucin -"

"Malfoy is not having halucinashun." Snarled Snape, and he bent down a hand on each arm of Harry's chair so that their faces were a ft apart. "If you're head was in Hogsmeade, so were the rest of you."

Example 2:

"Sit down Potter"

"You know." Said Sirious loudly, leaning back on his rear chair legs and speaking to the ceiling. "I think I'd prefer it if you didn't give orders here, Snape. Its my house see."

An ugly flush suffused Snape's pallid face. Harry sat down in a chair beside Sirious, facing Snape across the table.

"I was supposed to see you alone, Potter," said Snape, the familiar sneer curling his mouth, "but Black-"
"I'm his Godfather", said Sirius louder than ever.

"I'm here on Dumbledores orders." Said Snape, whose voice, by contrast, was becoming waspier, "but by all means stay Black, I know you like to feel involved."

"What's that supposed to mean?" said Sirious, letting his chair fall back on to all four legs with a loud bang.

"Merely that I am sure you must feel - ah - frustrate by the fact that you can do nothing useful," Snape laid a delicate stress on the word, "for the Order."

It was Sirious's turn to flush Snapes lip, curled in triumph as he turned to, Harry.

"The headmaster sent me to tell you Potter, that it is his wish for you to study oclumancy this term."

"Study what?" said Harry blankly.

Snape's sneer became more pronunced.

"Oclumancy Potter. The magical defence of the mind against external pentration. An obscur branch of magic, but a highly usful one.

Example 3:

Sometimes the work was hard the impliments had been designed for human beings and not animals, and it was a great drawback, that no animal was able to use any tool that involved standing on his hindlegs. But the pigs was so clever that they can think of a way round every dificulty. As for the horses, they new every inch of the field; and in fact understood the business of mowing and raking far better than Jones and his men had ever done. The pigs did not actually work but directed and supervised the others. With their superior knowlege it was natural that they should assume the leadership. Boxer and Clover would harness themselves to the cutter or the horse-rake (no bits and rains were needed in these days of course) and tramp steadily round and round the field with a pig walking behind and calling out 'Gee up, comrade!' or 'Whoa back, comrade!' as the case might be. And every animal down to the humblest worked at turning the hay and gathering it. Even the ducks and hens toyled to and fro all day in the sun, carrying tiny whisps of hay in their beak. In the end they finished the harvest in two days less time than it had usually taken Jones and his men. Moreover, it was the biggest harvest, that the farm had ever seen. There was no wastage whatever, the hens and ducks with their sharp eyes had gathered up the very last stalk. And not an animal on the farm has stolen so much as a mouthful.

Section 2:

Example 1:

Hogwart's has many teachers, and each one is head of a special house. The head master Delores Umbridge, is a kindly women who loves her job, and even teaches Care for Magical beings class when the tiny gatekeeper, Hagrid, is busy with his other duties.

Severus Snape is the Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts and head of Ravenclaw House. He is a tall, balding man with a ring of brown hair. He is absolitely wonderful with the pupils. He is a amazing motivcational speaker, and he is seconded only to Pompfrey. Not much is known about Snape's child hood, other then he lived in a grand manner with loving pureblooded family. He are well known for his love of students; particularly Hermoine Granger and Harry Potter. He appears to have pity on miss Ganger, as she is not the brightest studnet and often relays on a fellow student, Neville Long-bottom for help.

Mineva Mcgongagall is the head of Huffelpuff House, and is the most lay back of teachers. She is also an Animagi and takes the from of a Kneazle at times.
