Now that we've probably lost the best and fairest judge in the Ministry, what'll happen to Sirius? And all those other poor souls? Will the Ministry's Law Enforcement Department fall to shambles? With Scrigemour there, it probably will: he seems to be as bad as Fudge.

This is just a topic to hear other people's ideas. (in my view) Bones was the fairest judge they had. What'll happen now? (Of course, we don't know any of the other judges, but that's a minor point :p)

I agree about Scrimgeour... It seems like the Ministry's gone from a bumbling idiot who couldn't make a decision to a lion who dares people to challenge him.

I think he's still better than Fudge, but who knows what he could do? I'm afraid he'll become another Barty Crouch Sr.

God that'd be awful. *shudder* The Ministry will probably go from bad to worse without Bones there...Bones was the backbone of the whole thing, with help from those in the Order, like Arthur, Shacklebolt, and Tonks.

Remember, we've lost not only Amelia Bones but Dumbledore as well (who was restored to the Wizengamot at the end of OotP). I think the McCarthyistic tribunals held under Crouch are likely to return under Scrimgeour.

Also, I'm not quite sure about the "Sirius" question posted at the top - how would he be an issue for the Wizengamot (except in some post-mortem case)? Did I miss something?

*blink* He was? Another detail forgotten and noted. Whoof, the Ministry is going down in shambles, my friends. *shudders again*

As for the Sirius, yes I meant a post-mortem pardon or some such thing. Something that connects Sirius with another case or something... I just put Sirius there 'cause he was available. :p Post-humous Order of Merlin for bravery (har har har)

Not only was Dumbledore on the Wizengamot, but he was the Chief Warlock, no? Who else do we know on the Wizengamot who might now take that post?

And something that struck me, but is relatively unimportant: Scrimgeour has yellow eyes. Reminded me of Hooch. Any relation?

I think they've already dealt with the Sirius Black case. I just think they did it off the page. Fudge tells the Prime Minister in chapter one (the Other Minister) that Sirius Black did turn out to be innocent.

I'm sure it has been dealt with already.
