Title: A Helping Hand
Summary: The time of the book is in Harry's seventh year at Hogwarts. It is told from the point of view of a new student/teacher, a military officer from across the Atlantic. The young man has served eight years in the military fighting his own nation's Dark Wizards. He falls in love with Ginny Weasley, which infuriates both Ron and Harry. He most convince both of them that what he knows could prove vitial in defeating Voldemort. The OC is a Southern Gentleman, but he is also cocky, believing that Voldemort is nothing more then a push over.
