Well, I'm hoping someone takes this on. I've got an outline for something like this, but I would like to see some other stories along these lines as well.
Hermione is Snape's apprentice. They work together as a Student and Teacher, only at a closer Apprentice/Master level. They are NOT involved sexually, romantically, or whatever.
For an extra twist, Snape is already happily married, and his wife is also working with Hermione (maybe in Herbology while Snape focuses on Potions).
Hermione might be involved with someone else, but the focus of the story should be the working relationship/friendship of Hermione and Severus.
Hermione and Snape work together to solve a mystery. This should focus on a student/teacher relationship moving toward a working friendship, but not romance or sex.
What do you think? A little too strange and crazy for Snape and Granger? |

I think it sounds like a great idea but to be honest I'm not sure I could write a story that doesn't end up with Hermione and Severus romantically linked.
However, I've been working on a fic for months that involves her being his apprentice/assistant, and so far I have kept it just a respectful friendship. You've inspired me to finish that one up. If it fits your criteria, I'd love to share it with you.  |
