Remus has never been attracted to other men. His friendships have alwas been platonic, his fantasies involving women. When he has an unexpected reaction to Snape, he has to rethink his entire perception of himself and of what he wants out of life.
Snape wants nothing more than to be left alone and for the rest of the world to simply bugger off. Circumstances beyond his control, however, ensure that he will have regular contact with the werewolf who left him uncharacteristically shaken after their last encounter.
Set between the pages of OotP.
Not your typical PWP-style slash; this one is very much plot-driven and slow moving, with my typical attention to emotional and detail. |

Chapter Five: Unintentional is posted on Serpensortia
What began as a story of two men trying to deny themselves what they want becomes the story of two men taking what they both desperately need. It is not those circumstances beyond one's control that shape who one is; it is the choices one makes.
(this will probably be the last time the summary changes with the chapter. I'm horrible at typing these summaries that don't give anything away...) |
