OK, all I can remember of this one is the ending. I think.
Hermione is on the train back to London when she feels strange... She and Snape have some kind of connection I think and he's in the process of killing himself (I forget the why's and wherefores of this) draining his blood into a cauldron (which I think he has Willed to Hermione), turns out there is something about it that makes it very valuable. But I’m not certain what else is happening... Would appreciate some help.
Also, still looking for the HG/SS makeover story - Hermione is running late to meet up with Ron and Harry at the three broomsticks (she’s staying on and Hogwarts (teaching maybe) and they are Auror training. As she comes into the pub she over hears them talking about how she’s such a dowdy old maid destined to become another Minerva McGonagall, old and alone with just some cats for company. She overhears this.
Severus, who had been having dinner at the next table, overhears these drink induced ramblings and sees Hermione overhear them too. He ushers her outside, and they make an agreement to sort each other out. There is an agreement that she will make him over and he her... or at least have some kind of veto power over what he wants and visa versa.
While she looks through magazines for ideas, Severus turns up (they are both looking at their most unattractive (deliberately)) with a necklace that will duplicate their appearance so that they can continue to sort themselves out while projecting their familiar looks (thus making for dramatic unveiling). they wind up in Italy somewhere (staying in a spa that runs off products Severus makes I think) they end up sharing a room, Snape uses a facial growth potion, Hermione helps him shave/shape a goatee I think... possibly while wearing his shirt.
Then there is lemons I think... next day they visit his clothes designing (or selling) cousins where he tells his cousin in italian that he plans on woo'ing her or something but she knows what hes saying.... either way ends with the pair of them walking into the great hall sporting their new looks and possibly being engaged.
That’s all I can remember, as it turns out, is a lot.
Can someone at least tell me that I am not imagining the whole lot (cos if I am... damn LOL)
