So now that Dumbledore has a portrait I'm wondering if he'll be able to move between individual cards and have them work like a portrait (sound and movement) instead of a photograph (no sound, just movement). That could be a really quick way of moving information around. In OOtP, didn't Fred (George?) say that Dumbledore told him that he didn't care what happened to him as long as he had his chocolate frog cards?
I'm also wondering if Dumbledore has another portrait stashed somewhere else, maybe at Snape's house. An easy way to still pass along information to Dumbledore and the Order, although he'd have to be very careful not to get caught with it. |

A portrait would seem too risky. I think that Snape has, necessarily, burned his bridges.
Until we found out that the communication method was by Patronus, I was really holding out hope that the Chocolate Frog cards had something to do with the Order's means of communication. Ah well. I would still like to think that they come in again somehow.
