Story title: When Everything’s Made To Be Broken (tentative title)
Summary: Snape discovers Hermione’s secrets when he stumbles across her one night in the kitchen of Grimmauld Place. Set after the Dark Lord's fall in the trio's 6th year, Snape finds himself taking a far more active roll in his student's life than he ever imagined.

Warnings:
Alternative Universe, Incest, Abuse, Torture, Non-consensual Sex, and HBP does not exist, there’s a bit of marriage law twist tossed in, and I’m not strictly following cannon.
This is my first fan fiction and the story deals with and discusses child abuse in the extreme, including abortion, some torture, and emotional issues. The story isn’t complete, and I’m not looking to start posting right away as I want to get a better grasp on it first. As of today the page count in word is 224 pages with .5 inch margins. I will be happy to convert the file to RTF for emailing.
Right now I’m trying to find a beta who can read for content and give feedback on the storyline and plot. Grammar will eventually need done, but it isn’t my biggest concern right now. I do want to warn everyone up front that I have a learning disability and odd words will pop up because I’ve flipped my vowels somewhere along the way. Usually I can catch it with spell check, but I do miss some of my mistakes.
I’m having trouble with ‘out of character’ characters, and would like someone who can help me ground them a bit more (though some of the out of character-ness I’ve done is intentional and I want to keep) and trim a bit of the fluff that seems to have showed up out of nowhere.
