I think Trickie liked it quite a bit. Severus never once in cannon tells Lily off and she tells him off regularly. Not a healthy relationship. It was nice to make Lily the one who wasn't so sure of herself for a few minutes as well as the one who was envious of Emily. It took her quite a while to actually feel sorry for herself. I admire her strength. And finally, Severus sees the light! Think of how horrid he would have felt if Emily had died in childbirth. Oh, and the name Hope is so beautiful for so many reasons. Author's Response: Thanks! I think Severus just needed a firm nudge in the right direction. Emily has a bit of an inferiority complex that isn't entirely gone which is why she was so willing to accept to little. I shudder to think at what he would have done if she had died. It's a good thing I never intended to find out. ;) Our little bonder just _is_ Hope, although not everyone will use that name for her.
