Reviews for Two Sides Against the Middle

You know, I've been reading this for several weeks now, and I must say you slowly pulled me into Emily's world. There are so many things I like about this story - those delightful letters between Margo and Neville, that you managed to save Sirius, and I love the idea that the Dark Mark on Snape's arm was somewhat "faux". I'm sorry that I didn't comment earlier, but I'm really waiting eagerly for each new chapter, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Cúthalion

Author's Response: Thank you very much. That's high praise from someone whose story I have likewise enjoyed. I appreciate that you have read this and taken the time to review.

You can't blame Severus for freaking out. Emily's points are good ones, but those Carrows are close to being insane. Hopefully, they stay happy throwing Unforgivables at the kids. My canon calendar isn't very precise, but isn't May around the time that the final battle occurs? Are you going to have Emily giving birth while Severus lays dying on the Shack floor? I'm hoping not!

Author's Response: Hmmm...May 2, according to the Lexicon (evil grin). I won't comment on that point, but this baby is the one of the oldest parts of the story, in terms of when bits of the plot came to me. A lot of things have changed, especially since Emily took me for a ride in her seventh year, but that has not. The real stress between Emily and Severus is that he feels that she's in more danger around him because he knows that he's in danger, while she feels he will be safer if she can keep an eye on him.
