Reviews for Two Sides Against the Middle

Oh Rose, must you torture them so? Lovely story. Thanks for sharing, Pitt

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing! It's only until the end of the school year, and they figure that one way or another they'll be back together again. They certainly do have their rough moments, though.

I truly loved Severus' letter to Emily. In this world of divorce and relationships without love, it's so nice to see a couple who are truly devoted to each other no matter what and no matter how long they've been together. Yes, they're just fictional, but wouldn't we all give our right arms for such a great relationship?

Author's Response: Thank you! I think such marriages are possible, myself. What Severus and Emily have learned over the years is that they can depend upon each other in ways that they cannot depend upon anyone else. Being fairly isolated from any potential close friends due to their questionable allegiances would tend to make them rely upon each other more than other couples, perhaps.

The best thing about this chapter - the best things, actually -are the two letters you made father and daughter write. Especially the last one makes me want to comfort Margo - poor thing, hiding those moving, little messages in a trunk instead of being able to deliver them! Well done, am eagerly awaiting the next installment! Cúthalion

Author's Response: Thank you! It's so tough to go to the school your parent teaches at even if they aren't fighting in the middle of a war. Kids are less likely to trust you as a friend to begin with. I keep hoping that some day she'll be able to give him those notes.
