Reviews for Two Sides Against the Middle

Cuthalion 2009.03.06 - 12:58AM 79: A Momentary Slip Signed
Doing this looks very much like Draco; it is somewhat sweet to see Neville come to the rescue, but otherwise... this is not the first time during this tale that I want to slap him. Cúthalion

Author's Response: Neville took forever in canon to grow into his wizarding capabilities, so it's reasonable to expect him to be a bit of a late bloomer in other ways, too. Unfortunately, it's not like he can ask his dad for advice. Thank you for the review!

Draco's a jerk. Hope will have to be doubly viligant. My heart broke for her when she asked whether she had value of her own. I'm sure that's what a lot of teens wonder, Hope especially, given the circumstances. I really love the times with Severus and her. They are very poignant, and it's nice to see Severus in a fatherly role.

Author's Response: Hope was off her game that night, that's for sure. She'll not make that mistake again. I love the idea of Severus Snape as a father to girls. We went to see the movie _Taken_ a couple of weeks ago, and as the body count kept rising I thought that it's exactly the way Snape would be if that was his daugther.
