| "Song" fics so often seem a bit overdone and reaching (for me anyway) but this is a shining exception - beautifully eloquent. Well done, indeed. Author's Response: I was almost immobilized when I read the prompt, because I never do songfics for the reasons you give. I really hoped to do something a little better than the common version.
