It's so easy for her to hear what she wants to hear, and put her interpretation on his actions because she loves him so much. He's deliciously callous about everything. Author's Response: Yes. She thinks she's gotten over everything and she's much better put together, but when it comes down to it, she's still got a lot to learn. And right now he's raw pain and young and self-centered. Thanks for reading and reviewing! nagandsev 2011.04.20 - 12:52PM 17: A Quantum of Grief Signed Effective chapter, the hot/cold repeated usage and treatment of his character to her is hard to stomach time and time again; it's hard to see her keep longing/wanting him after everything he has done/is doing to her, and his cold, cruel detachment - good work! Author's Response: It was a chapter that was easy and hard to write. It came to mind in a flash, but seeing just how ugly his treatment of her was gave me the creeps. Thanks for reviewing!
