And still I feel like hitting him ;-)
Author's Response: He's so completely obnoxious, but on a different level somewhat endearing. Poor girl is still a bit in awe of his cool-ness. |

I would have hit Sirius right in the face if I were Emily. Good thing for him that I am not ;-) /M
Author's Response: I think the whole thing got glossed over when it was brought up in the Cannon. Someone should have hit Sirius or hexed him a good one. |

Let her choose Severus! Pleeeeeease lol. I agree with Trickie, I like the way you are describing James and Sirius, as I don't think they were very nice as teenagers and I think JKR showed this deliberately as there is dark and light in everyone.
Author's Response: Thank you! I don't think James and Sirius were very nice at all, until James _maybe_ grew out of it seventh year. If Sirius ever grew out of it, he would have survived the cannon. As for chosing Severus, well, she's not the only one who has to make that choice. |

Tsk tsk tsk, bad James, bad ;-) I like your story. I haven't read many Marauders-at-Hogwarts-stories, and the few I read, I did not like. But yours lovely so far, probably because you have Severus in it. Looking forward to chapter 4. /M
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, the Marauders are really part of the supporting cast of this story, which gives a different perspective entirely. Since they're not the main characters, their antics can be shown in a less glorious light. |

But of course Black is interested in Emily's curves. I actually had some hopes for him for a second, but that passed rather quickly. It's nice to see that you have given Severus a friend. He sure deserves one. Looking forward to the next chapter. Cheers. /M
Author's Response: Thank you! We learned in DH that Sirius had wallpapered his bedroom in things like swimsuit advertisements, and it must have been before he was 16 and moved out of his parents' house. The expression that comes to my mind is "on the make." Meanwhile, I thought Severus could use a friend. |

I'm going to alert my friends about this story. I love the way you are portraying Sirius and showing how shallow he is. I like the side you show of Severus as a serious student who considers Emily a friend as well as a study partner. I don't believe that Rowling actually stated that St. Lily was the only friend he'd ever had. We've only seen him through Harry's point of view, and Harry hated him until he saw the memories in the pensieve. I'm certain that Severus was selective in what memories he gave Harry, but he had to give him some very private ones about Harry's mother. Snape could appear altogether differently from someone elses vewpoint.
Author's Response: That's rich praise coming from you! Somehow Sirius manages to have his heroic moments but he does seem pretty shallow to me. I'm glad you like the different POV on Severus. |
