What horrors awaited him after he went, that kept him from returning to "normal life" for over a week? Author's Response: Neville has certainly got many valid reasons to feel sorry for himself. It's amazing that he became so well-rounded and generally cheerful. I'm really thinking hard about how to do the next school year because I think Severus is almost relieved to finally be doing something, instead of waiting, but that feeling is surely temporary. debjunk 2008.12.29 - 01:20AM 51: Something New Signed How funny that Severus had to deliver the baby! I think Severus took it in stride since it became yet another of their private jokes. Meanwhile, you know how doctors can be; some get miffed when they cannot control what's going on. Some things have been known to cause or intensify labor, but I think the timing has to be just right it happens. Their reactions were sweet, his being very fatherly, and hers being a bit more laid back. I find it reflects my attitudes with my 15 year old and her father's attitudes towards her quite well. Author's Response: Aren't Daddies wonderful? It may be a bit cliche, but Severus Snape with a teen daughter would be a lot like that, I think.
