Emily is such a great character, I hope you will let things work out for them. Wonderful chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! We'll have to see how things work out. Sometimes they do things I didn't quite expect.

Poor Snape, having to see even his own daughter captivated by Mr. Idiot. Oh, well, young girls always swoon for the good looking ones, no matter what they have upstairs.
Author's Response: Most girls go through that sort of thing, unfortunately. Fortunately, it will pass. Thank you for the review!

This is just too good. Margo helping Neville, the stupid girls talking about Snape, it's all wonderful.
Author's Response: Thank you! I would think that belonging to Snape's family would require one to develop a thick skin. Margo helping Neville seemed to be an obvious thing, once it came to me.

She didn't razz those girls enough. She's too kind. She should have ripped them new noses in polka dot patterns. This chapter was very funny and Lockhart was spot on. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him, he's just so easy to despise (in a loveable way, not in a dark, angsty Voldemort-ish way.)
Author's Response: Thank you! Of course, we only see her just as she's about to treat the first one. There's no telling what those girls suffered in the process of being made "better"(evil grin). As one of our friends points out, it's possible to make the cures quite painful... Thanks about the Lockhart. I'm not sure how much of him will actually show up, here.

I wondered how you would work the events of the books into this story, good job. Poor Emily, will young tom riddle know that his present day self wants her.
Author's Response: Thank you! The whole Quirrell plotline sort of screamed for Emily's involvement, so it was pretty easy. I think it's safe to assume that the portion of Tom Riddle in the diary would ignore her completely. Since the diary only knows what Ginny and, for a little while, Harry tell it about current events, there's no reason for Emily to intersect with that bit of plot.

Thank heavens that year is over! Quirrel's 'attack' on Emily was positively creepy. I'd go hide in the library too. Of course, things won't be smoothing out any time soon now, will they?
Author's Response: Thank you for the reviews! There's an ebb and flow to the seven years of canon, if you're not Harry. Some years will be better than others. But no, it will be a long time before Emily can settle down to the "good old days" between the two wars again.

Oh, yay, a two-fer! I love the way they comfort each other always and make each other's days better. That is truly what a loving relationship is all about. You bring that out very well.
Author's Response: Thank you! That can be both the hardest and the best part of marriage at the same time. I think these two, having seen what a REALLY bad day looks like, have some perspective, too. |

Does Voldemort have anything to do with why she hasn't gotten pregnant? As always, a wonderful chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! I never decided. I'm mentally leaning toward it's just taking a long time for her body to get over the trauma of the last one. |

Creepy Quirrel. Voldemort needs to keep his non-existent hands to himself!
Author's Response: I like that! Thanks! |

Great Balls of Fire! Her first is going to be with Severus with the Marauders passed out drunk in the next room?!?
Author's Response: It is a bit absurd, isn't it? I'm not entirely sure about Peter's state of mind, there, either. Thanks for reading and for the reviews! |

Very interesting take on the Severus meets the wolf incident.
Author's Response: Thank you. I tried to think how it would look to Severus and his friends. |

Snape is so cute with Hope in this. Ruffling her hair and giving her advice about Malfoy. It's nice to see that although he hasn't changed with respect to the students, he has that soft spot in him with Em and Hope.
Author's Response: Thank you! Men are such Daddies with their little girls. I couldn't see Severus escaping from that. Of course, in a few years, he'll be the meanest dad around when the boys come calling. |

I didn't think it was possible to dislike Draco more than I already did. Excellent story.
Author's Response: He pretty much thinks he's entitled to everything he sees, I think. Thank you for all the reviews, by the way. |
