She should have ripped them new noses in polka dot patterns. This chapter was very funny and Lockhart was spot on. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him, he's just so easy to despise (in a loveable way, not in a dark, angsty Voldemort-ish way.) Author's Response: Thank you! Of course, we only see her just as she's about to treat the first one. There's no telling what those girls suffered in the process of being made "better"(evil grin). Poor Emily, will young tom riddle know that his present day self wants her. Author's Response: Thank you! The whole Quirrell plotline sort of screamed for Emily's involvement, so it was pretty easy. I think it's safe to assume that the portion of Tom Riddle in the diary would ignore her completely. Since the diary only knows what Ginny and, for a little while, Harry tell it about current events, there's no reason for Emily to intersect with that bit of plot.
